Backed by a Dodgers' season high 18 hits, Burt Hooton beat the Bucs, 10-2, for his first victory since July 31. Hooton allowed just four hits and struck out 10 before leaving the mound after seven innings. Elias Sosa finished. Steve Garvey batted in the Dodgers' first three runs with a pair of singles.
