Tom Seaver hit a homer in his own behalf and gained his 17th victory when the Reds defeated the Dodgers, 7-4. George Foster batted in two of the Reds' runs with a double, raising his RBI total to 133. Dave Concepcion collected three hits and also drove in two runs.
