Ellis Valentine hit two homers and Tony Perez and Andre Dawson added one apiece to account for the Expos' scoring in a 4-2 victory over the Pirates. Perez and Valentine connected in succession in the sixth inning. Then in the eighth, Dawson hit for the circuit and one out later Valentine rapped his second homer of the game. [The Sporting News]
