. . . where the 1970s live forever!

After going 14 games without driving in any runs, Jim Rice broke his drouth with four RBIs to pace the Red Sox to a 7-3 victory over the Blue Jays. The Red Sox erased a 2-0 deficit when Rice homered with two men on base in the fourth inning. The Blue Jays tied the score in the fifth, but the Red Sox went ahead to stay with two runs in the fifth on a double by Butch Hobson, pass to Rick Burleson, single by Ted Cox and sacrifice fly by Rice for his fourth RBI.
