The Mariners scored three runs in the seventh inning and won the first game of a doubleheader, 5-3, before the White Sox came back with three runs in the first inning en route to a 6-1 victory in the second game. Two walks, a double by Dave Collins and single by Dan Meyer accounted for the runs that decided the lidlifter in the Mariners' favor.
