. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Following the previous night's 4-1 victory over the Royals, the Rangers won two consecutive games for the first time this season when Doyle Alexander blanked the Indians, 3-0, on a six-hitter. The Rangers got two runs in the third inning when Juan Beniquez reached base on an infield hit and Mike Hargrove powered a drive into the right field seats. Richie Zisk socked a round-tripper to open the fourth. [The Sporting News]
