Richie Zisk hit a two-run single in the fifth inning and then homered with a man on base in the 11th to beat the Red Sox, 5-4, and bring the Rangers their fourth straight victory. The Red Sox scored in the top half of 11th when Carlton Fisk, who had singled, raced home from first base on an error by Bump Wills, who threw wildly attempting to start a double play on a grounder by Fred Lynn. In the Rangers' half, Al Oliver singled and Zisk gave the Rangers their come-from-behind triumph with his homer.
