. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Doubles by Charlie Spikes, Steve Kemp and Milt May drove in all of the Tigers' runs in a 5-4 victory over the Mariners. In the second inning, Kemp walked and scored on Spikes' two-bagger. A double by Kemp in the fifth drove in Aurelio Rodriguez and Rusty Staub, who were on base with singles. Then, in the seventh, Staub singled, Kemp walked and both crossed the plate on May's double.
