Pitching in relief in the 10th inning, Ken Forsch paved the way for his own defeat with two walks before Jerry Royster drove in a run with a single to give the Braves a 2-1 victory over the Astros. After replacing Joaquin Andujar to open the 10th, Forsch passed Rod Gilbreath, who stole second. Darrel Chaney also walked.
