. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Brilliant pitching by Tom Underwood extended Oakland's scoreless streak to 29 innings as the Blue Jays beat the A's, 4-0. It was the lefthander's first A. L. win.

The Jays scored a run in the first on a leadoff double by Rick Bosetti and single by Willie Upshaw. Bosetti singled in another run in the third and Bob Bailor delivered two runs with a double in the fifth. [The Sporting News]
