With Fergie Jenkins tossing his third complete game in as many starts and Al Oliver collecting four RBIs, the Rangers breezed past the Brewers, 7-1. Sixto Lezcano's homer gave the Brewers a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but the Rangers scored twice in the third on singles by Bert Campaneris and Juan Beniquez, a sacrifice fly by Richie Zisk and single by Jim Sundberg. Oliver singled home the Rangers' third run in the sixth and slammed a homer in the eighth after singles by Zisk and Sundberg.
