Willie Stargell drove in five runs with two homers and Bert Blyleven pitched a three-hitter as the Pirates defeated the Expos, 6-0. Stargell started his slugging in the first inning after a triple by Omar Moreno and pass to Dave Parker. His second homer of the game followed a single by John Milner in the fourth. Ed Ott then doubled and Blyleven put the capper on his victory with a single for the final run.
