Snapping a 10-game Milwaukee winning streak, the Indians blanked the Brewers, 3-0, in the opener of a doubleheader, but the Brewers came back to win the nightcap, 4-1. In the lidlifter, Rick Waits scattered six hits to post his second shutout and eighth complete game of the season.
