Bobby Bonds belted a pair of three-run homers, connecting consecutively in the fourth and fifth innings, and Fergie Jenkins pitched a five-hitter as the Rangers defeated the Angels 7-0, to start a sweep of a twi-night doubleheader. Bonds also contributed to the Rangers' 8-4 victory in the second game, hitting a double and knocking in two more runs.
