A pair of two-run homers by Joe Wallis sparked the A's to their seventh victory in eight games, a 9-4 triumph over the Mariners. Wallis' first round-tripper came in the opening inning and followed a walk to Larry Murray. A homer by Tony Armas netted two tallies in the second.
