. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A seven-run outburst in the second inning propelled the Tigers to a 13-3 rout of the Indians. The Tribe committed three errors in the big frame, including a two-run throwing error by losing pitcher Rick Wise and pair by right fielder Paul Dade that led to two other runs. Lou Whitaker drove in one tally with a sacrifice fly and Rusty Staub capped the scoring binge with a two-run homer. [The Sporting News]
