Two homers by Larry Milbourne, including the first grand slam of his major league career, powered the Mariners to a 7-6 victory over the Indians. Milbourne connected with the bases loaded in the second inning to cap a five-run outburst.

After the Mariners added a run on a double by Bruce Bochte and a single by Bob Robertson in the third, Milbourne hit a solo shot in the fourth to produce what proved to be the deciding marker. Andre Thornton drove in three runs for the Indians with two homers and a single. [The Sporting News]
