Tossing a two-hitter and tying a major league record by striking out four batters in one inning, Mike Paxton hurled the Indians to an 11-0 rout of the Mariners. Dan Meyer led off the Mariners' fifth by swinging at a third strike, but reached first when the ball got by catcher Gary Alexander.
