. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run third inning triggered the White Sox to a 4-2 victory over the Rangers. Ralph Garr led off the third with a double and Don Kessinger followed with a bunt single. Third baseman Kurt Bevacqua threw wildly to first base trying to get Kessinger, allowing Garr to score.

After Mike Squires drew a walk, a single by Lamar Johnson plated Kessinger and a sacrifice fly by Eric Soderholm tallied Squires. A double by Garr in the fourth produced the other Sox run. [The Sporting News]
