The Brewers trailed, 4-2, entering the last of the ninth in the nightcap but staged a three-run rally to win the game. Jim Wohlford led off with a single and was forced at second by Gorman Thomas. Pinch-hitter Dave May singled and, after Robin Yount flied out, reliever Jim Kern yielded a single to Money to load the bases.
