A two-run homer by Eddie Murray in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Orioles to their sixth straight victory in a 4-3 decision over the Mariners. The Birds trailed, 3-2, going into the last of the ninth when Ken Singleton stroked a one-out double. Murray then hit the first pitch from loser Enrique Romo into the right field seats.
