A pinch-hit sacrifice fly by Vic Davalillo snapped a 2-2 tie in the eighth inning and lifted the Dodgers to a 3-2 triumph over the Astros. Dusty Baker walked to lead off the eighth, was sacrificed to second by Rick Monday, advanced to third on a single by Joe Ferguson and scored when Davalillo lofted a fly ball to center.
