A two-run homer by Rick Cerone in the eighth inning lifted the Blue Jays to a 5-4 triumph over the Brewers. The Jays trailed, 4-3, with nobody on and two out in the eighth when Dave McKay stroked a single. Cerone followed with his third round-tripper of the year to give reliever Victor Cruz his seventh win in eight decisions. [The Sporting News]
