Taking advantage of wildness on the part of Chicago pitcher Ken Kravec, the A's posted a 6-3 victory over the White Sox. Kravec walked Rico Carty and Taylor Duncan in the second inning prior to a two-run single by Miguel Dilone. In the sixth stanza, Kravec walked Dilone, who scored on a double by Mike Edwards. Dilone also stole two bases. Dave Revering hit a solo homer in the fourth. [The Sporting News]
