. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The grief-stricken Angels posted a 7-3 victory over the White Sox. Prior to the game, a moment of silence was observed for California outfielder Lyman Bostock, who was shot and killed the night before in Gary, Ind.

The Angels batted around in a five-run sixth inning. Don Baylor led off with a home run and four successive singles followed to account for two more runs before Rick Miller capped the scoring with a single that produced the final pair. [The Sporting News]
