Getting a run in the bottom of the 11th inning, the Rangers edged the Twins, 3-2. A double by Bobby Bonds with one out in the 11th started the winning outburst. An infield out by Bump Wills moved Bonds to third and he scored on a sharp single to center by Al Oliver. Reggie Cleveland pitched three innings in relief to gain the win.
