A home run by Tony Perez in the 11th gave the Expos their second 3-2 extra-inning victory over the Mets in two days. The contest was marred by an all-out brawl in the ninth when the Expos' Gary Carter crashed into Met catcher John Stearns in an attempt to score. Stearns responded with a series of punches and Carter retaliated. Both benches and bullpens emptied before order was restored. Carter and Stearns were ejected. [The Sporting News]
