Driving in three runs apiece, Barry Bonnell and Jerry Royster led the Braves to an 11-4 rout of the Dodgers. Bonnell accounted for his first RBI with a single in the second inning and crashed a two-run homer in the eighth.

Royster had a sacrifice fly in the second and added a two-run double in the eighth. Gene Garber, hurling the last four innings for the Braves, posted his third save of the young campaign. [The Sporting News]
