A single by Rodney Scott drove home the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Expos edged the Mets, 5-4. Dave Cash drew a leadoff walk and moved to second on a sacrifice by Andre Dawson ahead of Scott's decisive single. A homer by Dawson had tied the score for the Expos in the bottom of the seventh after the Mets had taken a 4-3 lead in the top of the frame. [The Sporting News]
