Home runs by Bake McBride and Greg Luzinski powered the Phillies to a 3-2 triumph over the Pirates. McBride hit a solo clout in the third inning and Luzinski bashed the ball into the upper deck of Three Rivers Stadium following a single by Pete Rose in the sixth.
