. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Yielding just three hits, Dave Rozema pitched the Tigers to a 4-1 decision over the Blue Jays. The righthander had a no-hitter for five innings, but Roy Howell belted a leadoff homer for the Jays in the sixth. The first Tiger run came in the second inning on a homer by Lance Parrish. Singles by Lynn Jones in the fourth, Steve Kemp in the sixth and Mark Wagner in the seventh produced the other tallies. [The Sporting News]
