Flying to their seventh straight victory, the Orioles defeated the Angels, 5-2. The Orioles scored twice in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 deadlock. Eddie Murray doubled, took third on a single by Doug DeCinces and scored on a sacrifice fly by Lee May. A single by Rick Dempsey then plated DeCinces.
