Two runs followed in the third on singles by Dave Concepcion and Joe Morgan, a wild pickoff throw to first by Cub pitcher Rick Reuschel and a double by George Foster. Bunt singles by LaCoss and Ken Griffey and a sacrifice fly by Morgan produced the final tally in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
