Jerry Turner, Dave Winfield and Dan Briggs hit homers as the Padres stopped the Expos' seven-game winning streak, 10-2. Warren Cromartie, who had hit safely in 19 straight games for a Montreal club record, was collared in three official trips but reached base on an error in the fifth inning and scored on a single by Gary Carter to put the Expos ahead, 2-1.
