. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Tom Underwood issued successive bases-loaded passes to Gorman Thomas and Cecil Cooper in the ninth inning, forcing in two runs and handing the Brewers a 5-4 victory over the Blue Jays. Thomas hit a three-run homer in the third inning to put the Brewers ahead, 3-2, but the Blue Jays regained the lead when Rick Bosetti singled and Otto Velez homered in the fifth.

In the Brewers' ninth, Robin Yount and Dick Davis singled and Charlie Moore was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Paul Molitor forced Yount at the plate, but Underwood then lost his control and the game. [The Sporting News]
