A pair of three-run innings carried the Cubs to a 6-2 victory over the Braves. Barry Foote and Bill Buckner hit doubles in the fifth when the Cubs opened their scoring, and a single by Jerry Martin produced two of the three other runs in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
