A three-run homer by Sixto Lezcano climaxed a seven-run outburst in the fifth inning that lifted the Brewers to a 9-5 triumph over the Indians. A sacrifice fly by Paul Molitor and single by Cecil Cooper produced the first two markers in the big frame.

With the bases loaded and two out, Tribe right fielder Bobby Bonds dropped Ben Oglivie's fly ball for a two-run error. Lezcano then unloaded his homer off reliever Dan Spillner. [The Sporting News]
