A two-run double by Pete Rose in the top of the 12th inning enabled the Phils to post a 9-8 victory over the Padres. Rudy Meoli walked to begin the winning rally. Meoli advanced to second on a sacrifice by Dave Rader and Bake McBride drew a walk.
