Snapping a tie with a homer by Jim Sundberg, the Rangers defeated the Blue Jays, 3-1. After Sundberg's smash in the eighth inning, the Rangers added an insurance run in the ninth on a triple by Al Oliver and single by Pat Putnam. [The Sporting News]
