. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Firing a six-hitter, Dave Lemanczyk hurled the Blue Jays to a 4-3 victory over the Indians. The Jays scored one run in each of the first two innings on singles by Rico Carty and Rick Cerone. Indian errors resulted in a pair of unearned tallies in the fourth, the markers being driven across on a sacrifice fly by Bob Bailor and a groundout by Roy Howell. [The Sporting News]
