. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Erupting for five runs in the fourth inning, the Blue Jays went on to an 8-1 triumph over the Indians behind the seven-hit pitching of Dave Lemanczyk. With the Jays trailing, 1-0, and one out in the fourth, Rico Carty doubled, John Mayberry walked and Al Woods singled to fill the bases.

A double by Rick Bosetti scored Carty and Mayberry and a sacrifice fly by Rick Cerone plated Woods. An RBI single by DAnny Ainge and run-scoring triple by Alfredo Griffin completed the big inning. [The Sporting News]
