. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A grand slam by Andre Thornton highlighted the Indians' 8-6 victory over the Blue Jays. The score was 1-1 in the third inning when Thornton unloaded after Bobby Bonds reached base on a fielder's choice, Paul Dade singled and Rick Manning drew an intentional walk. The first Tribe run of the frame came on Dade's single. The Indians added three more tallies in the sixth stanza on RBI singles by Toby Harrah and Tom Veryzer and a sacrifice fly by Gary Alexander.
