A two-run homer by Jorge Orta in the eighth inning brought the White Sox from behind to gain a 5-4 decision over the A's. The White Sox trailed, 4-3, going into the bottom of the eighth when Lamar Johnson stroked a leadoff single. Joe Gates, running for Johnson, advanced to second on a sacrifice and scored when Orta clouted his homer. [The Sporting News]
