Greg Luzinski, who drove in the Phillies' first run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning, smashed a two-run homer in the ninth to beat the Cardinals, 3-1. Pete Rose slapped a one-out single ahead of Luzinski's blast. The Cards' only run came on a homer by Ted Simmons. [The Sporting News]
