Ross Baumgarten allowed only one hit before walking two batters in the ninth inning when Randy Scarbery relieved and retired the side to complete the White Sox' 6-1 victory over the Angels. The only Angel run was unearned, scoring in the sixth on a two-base error by Claudell Washington, an infield out and a sacrifice fly by Don Baylor.
