Pitching his second career complete game, Mickey Mahler hurled the Braves to a 4-1 triumph over the Giants as a three-run homer by Glenn Hubbard was the big blow. The Braves tallied an unearned run in the fourth inning and Hubbard broke the game open in the sixth stanza. [The Sporting News]
