. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Homers by Roy Howell and Danny Ainge enabled the Blue Jays to break their six-game losing streak with a 6-2 victory over the Mariners. The Blue Jays picked up their first two runs in the third inning when Rick Cerone singled, Alfredo Griffin doubled and both runners scored on a wild pitch by Odell Jones. Howell hit his homer with two men on base in the sixth. Ainge's homer in the seventh was the rookie second baseman's first in the major leagues. [The Sporting News]
