Dave Kingman was the star of the game with a stolen base on his first attempt this season and his 19th homer as the Cubs edged the Giants, 2-1. Kingman opened the fourth inning with a single, pilfered second and scored on a single by Steve Ontiveros to tie the contest at 1-1.
