A two-out single by Lee May in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Mark Belanger from third base and lifted the Orioles to a 3-2 triumph over the Twins. Belanger opened the Birds' 10th with a base on balls and moved to second on a single by Ken Singleton. A sacrifice bunt by Eddie Murray moved the runners along and after Gary Roenicke popped out, May delivered the game-winning blow to left field. [The Sporting News]
