Roy Smalley, the A.L's leading hitter, rapped two hits and drove in two runs to lead the Twins to a 3-1 victory over the Orioles. The Twins took a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a walk to John Castino, a sacrifice bunt and singles by Hosken Powell, Butch Wynegar and Smalley.
